DAY 01. JAYAPURA – ARRIVAL (LD)
Arrive at Sentani airport of Jayapura, meet and transfer to Sentani Indah hotel for check in. after lunch, half day tour visit Mc. Marthur war memorial and Sentani lake. Afternoon back to hotel for dinner and stay overnihght.
DAY 02.. JAYAPURA - WAMENA (BLD)
Breakfast at hotel, then transfer to the airport for fly by Trigana air to Wamena. Up on arrive in Wamena transfer by taxi for check to Baliem Pilamo hotel. Then touring to visit, traditional Jibama market, after lunch at local restaurant, continue to Sinakma village to see the Dani peoples and their compound. Afternoon drive to Baliem Pilamo hotel dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 03. WAMENA/ BALIEM VALLEY TOUR (BLD)
Breakfast at hotel, by car drive down to Wamena for about 1 hours then proceed to Wesaput village and village surrounding, after lunch at local restaurant in Wamena heading up Napua village to view the down town of Wamena, walking through the villages and enjoy the traditional dance of Lani tribe from the West with their full body decorated. Late afternoon drive back to Baliem Pilamo hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 04.. WAMENA/ BALIEM VALLEY TOUR (BLD)
Breakfast at hotel, fullday exploring the Baliem Valley area visit Southern Dani and village surrounding by charter taxi to Sogokmo and take a simply trek through Dani gardens and will be nice view of Baliem gorge and landscape. Lunch will serve by box. Afternoon drive back to Wamena for dinner and stay overnight at Baliem Pilamo hotel.
DAY 05.. WAMENA/ BALIEM VALLEY TOUR (BLD)
Breakfast at hotel, fullday tour visit Nothern Baliem Valley. Drive to Jiwika district by taxi then, climb up the Milli mountain to see the Dani women produce the salt by traditional way by extract from bananas pulp from spring water, it will take about 2.5 hours round trip. After lunch serve by box, walking to Sumpaima village to see the old Mummy of Mabels family. About 10 minutes to Anemoigi village to enjoy the Dani great pig feast and dance. Late afternoon back to hotel for dinner and stat overnight at Baliem Pilamo hotel.
DAY 06. WAMENA – EWER – AGATS (BLD)
Breakfast at hotel, on it’s time transfer to Wamena airport to catch the charter flight to Ewer. (Ewer is the the name of air strip in Asmat region). By motorized canoe about 30 minutes ride to Agats (main town in Asmat region). Preparing our stay at Asmat or Padaelo losmen, then after lunch walking to Asmat Museum, Syuru village and Asmat foundation. Afternoon back to your losmen for dinner and stay overnight.
DAY 07. AGATS – OWUS (BLD)
Breakfast, on board the motorized canoe for about 1.5 – 2 hours to Owus village, welcome canoe by the Asmat peoples will remaining us the past of the Asmat warriors when they were still fight between the tribes. After lunch at long house/ Jew, that it’s provided from Agats by our cook. At noon ride with the Asmat tribes paddle up river to see the wild life and jungle. Return to the village for dinner and stay Long house.
DAY 08. OWUS – OMANDESEP (BLD)
Breakfast, prepared our stuff then after say good by the village, heading for Omandesep village for 3 hours motorized canoe ride through the Ocean, we will pass 2 big river Siret and Betj. Afterwards, arrive at the village walk in to the Long house to see the Asman man beat the drum. After lunch, paddle or walk in to swampy jungle with Asmat peoples to see the Sago gathering and process. Afternoon return to the village for dinner and stay overnight at long or local house.
DAY 09. OMANDESEP – AGATS (BLD)
Breakfast, before we leave the village, it’s time to buy the wood carving from the villagers. Then on board the motorized canoe back to Agats by stop at Bokap beach. We will have lunch on the beach. Afternoon for another 2 hours canoe ride to Agats. Dinner and stay over night at Asmat or Padaelo losmen.
DAY 10. AGATS – TIMIKA (BLD)
Early breakfast, by motorized canoe through Arafuru ocean depart to Timika for about 10 hours. On the way we will stop at three island for lunch and straighten up the legs for 3 minutes, then continue to Mapuru jaya port. 1 hour drive by car from Mapuru jaya to Timika then check to Sheraton hotel. Dinner will be at hotel.
DAY 11. TIMIKA – DEPARTURE (B)
Breakfast at hotel, transfer to the airport for fly to your next destinations ( Bali or Jakarta). |
